Christ the King Church, San Diego is a ministry dedicated to all people in Southern California, specifically the San Diego County area. We believe all people who proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord are members of the Body of Christ without regard to their race, language, or national origin. We believe that there is unity in Jesus Christ and are committed to demonstrate this unity despite the separation that the world might want to establish.
We believe that all people are created in the image of God (Genesis 2:27) and are called by God to salvation (John 3:16; Romans 10:13). We recognize that these are challenging times and as a nation we've become blind to systemic injustice rooted in prejudice - but God is allowing it to come into the light. We are committed to be a part of God’s solution. We demonstrate this commitment by loving God and one another. We teach and proclaim the love of God toward all people and by loving God and loving one another (Mark 12:30-31; John 13:34 and 15:12).
During these challenging times, we recognize that we are all guilty. as a nation, by allowing our organizations and authoritative departments to be influenced by people who have created an environment of injustice and prejudice both racially and socially. (1 John 4:20). We make a call to all. Let us humble ourselves before God in repentance of these fruitless, destructive, and sinful behaviors and attitudes, then the Lord will work and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). We pray for justice, we pray for peace, and we pray for healing of our nation and of the world.
