January 24, 2021 - LIVESTREAM via YouTube, from Poway:
We will be live-streaming on Sunday January 24th via our Christ the King Anglican Church YouTube channel (please subscribe! Apparently the live service isn't visible on our CTK YouTube channel until about 12 hours after the service; we will try to share its specific URL here as soon as possible, hopefully right before the service. You can also check our FB page if you're not able to find the LIVE service on YouTube because we also share the URL there before the service starts.
**NO in-person service at the Poway campus** skeleton crew only.
**Outdoor service at Collier Park in Ramona** Please remember to take your temperature before you come and if you aren't feeling well at all, PLEASE STAY HOME.
Teaching on the 39 Articles continues via Zoom, Sundays at 11:30a - the login details are on our calendar.

NEW PROGRAM STARTING in 2021:
THE MARRIAGE COURSE ONLINE The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong marriage. This course, like the Alpha Course, originated with HTB (Holy Trinity Brompton) in London (you can see one of their brief videos explaining it here here) - please check out our page about the two upcoming courses and share it with family and friends for whom it might be a blessing.
We've also got our Rector Ministry Description and our Congregational Profile approved and online - take a look at New Rector here on the website.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ...a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.
(Ecclesiates 3:1, 5b)
Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is past.
(Isaiah 26:20)

We are rooted in Scripture. We believe that the Old and New Testaments contain everything necessary for salvation. We believe the Bible is the true word of God.
We are rooted in the history of the ancient Church. We believe that there is value in the teachings of the Church Fathers. We value worship in the liturgical tradition.
Holy Scripture, Church tradition, and liturgical worship still speak to the problems of today. Poverty, violence, sickness, pain, death, injustice - Jesus came to change these things. We, as His followers, believe we are called to address them as well - in word and in action.
Being a follower of Christ is all about relationship:
First, relationship with God: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your mind.
Next, relationship with others: Love your neighbor as yourself.
